Riding Lessons & Training
Our focus is mainly on teaching you about horseback riding and care of the horse. We teach you to love the horse and all the fun that goes along with a horse experience. Our program incorporates good horsemanship and team work, playing games with the horses and to understand natural horse methods or even riding all the way up to advanced horseback riding skills.
Learn basic horse care and beginning riding skills in this series of group lessons. A fun, game format teaching natural horsemanship skills and more, building confidence and safety on the grounds and in the saddle.
Gift certificates are also available. Surprise your favorite cowboy or cowgirl with group or personal lessons in the scenic Texas hill country of Leander, TX. Deer Canyon Stables lesson program is open by appointment only. And by the way, private lessons are also offered for all ages.
Requirements
Hold Harmless Liability Release Agreement must be signed by parent, guests, friends, and spectators pior to riding
Barn Rules: All barn rules must be followed explicitly
ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR HORSE RIDING HELMET
Hard sole shoes (boots with regular heel if you have them) and long pants.
